Weekly Update - February 10th, 2023

Ben Franklin asked, “Who is wise? He that learns from everyone. Who is powerful? He that governs his passions. Who is rich? He who is content. Who is that? Nobody.” Actually, the apostle Paul would disagree. Contentment can be found! In our passage this Sunday, we explore Philippians 4:10-13 as Paul discusses the secret of contentment. It is not a given that Christians will be content. We must learn it and it is so valuable for our lives.

Weekly Update - February 3rd, 2023

Hope everyone is staying warm! Winter has kicked in hard for a few days. I hope the New Testament Challenge has been encouraging and instructive so far. If you are keeping up, we finished the Gospel of Luke today. If you are a little behind, hang in there! Let us soak up the glory of Jesus fulfilling the great promises of salvation found in the Old Testament. In Luke 24:44, Jesus declared, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” What a Savior!

Weekly Update - January 27th, 2023

This Sunday we will explore one of the Bible's greatest passages when it comes to dealing with the stress and struggles of everyday life! Philippians 4:6-7 declares, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ." God's word is immensely helpful. Join us Sunday as we dig into this passage as well as sing praises to our Savior and fellowship with his people.
