Why do we give?
For Christians, giving is an act of worship. God has already given His Son so we give in response to what He has already done. Further, giving is far more than simply giving money to the church. Giving is a faith issue that addresses matters of the heart. We believe that God matures us and draws us closer to Himself through our call to give sacrificially in serving and advancing His Kingdom.
Where does your money go?
Weems Creek Church is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization. Every year, the Weems Creek Finance Committee prepares a budget which is presented to our members for approval. We also present regular financial updates to our members at monthly church ministry meetings to maintain accountability in the stewardship of our finances.
The regular giving of Weems Creek members and contributors is used to pay salaries, support ministries, pay bills, and advance the kingdom in our city, nation, and world. Annual giving statements will be mailed in January.
