Weekly Update, July 19th, 2024
Hi church,
The new church sign arrived this week and it looks fantastic! The sign has a clean look with our new logo and it lights up well at night. Our church is blessed with an excellent location. May God use the sign in the coming days to draw people's attention to our church and we can point them to Him!
Orioles Faith Night
The church will be purchasing group tickets for the Orioles Faith Night on Aug. 13. The game begins at 6:35pm and will be against the Washington Nationals. After the game, there will be faith-based music and players will share their testimonies. Tickets are $16 per person, and you must sign up by next Sunday, July 28 at the Connect Center or at this link: Orioles Faith Night
Creativity Workshop – Cooking with Jenny
All ladies (6th grade and up), join us for “Cooking with Jenny,” a fun and FREE cooking class with Jenny Francis, a former professional caterer and GREAT cook! On Tuesday, August 6, from 6:30-8pm. See Pastor Alex for more information.

The Men’s Ministry will be hosting a cookout at the church this Sunday at 5pm. Come hang out, play some games, and eat some great food! All food will be provided. Please sign up at this link: Men's Cookout Registration or at the Connect Center.
Men’s Bible Study
The Men’s Bible study just finished the book of Hebrews and will be taking a break for the rest of the summer. In September, they will begin studying the book of James.
Evangelism Conference
The BCMD is holding an evangelism conference on Aug. 24 at Clinton Baptist Church in Clinton, MD for anyone who wants to better share their faith. Cost is $20, which includes lunch. For more information or to register, use this link: https://bcmd.org/event/2024-evangelism-conference/
Seating & Parking
Our attendance numbers keep growing and we’re having new visitors each week! If possible, please move to the center of the row so that late comers can easily find a seat. It would also be helpful if we parked in the back, leaving parking spaces for visitors and late arrivers in the front. There are handicapped spaces and doors to the atrium at the back of the building as well. Thank you!
The Story of Scripture
Bay Area Community Church will be hosting The Story of Scripture: Understanding God’s Grand Story, from Genesis to Revelation on Nov. 8th & 9th. This conference will be taught by Dr. Mark Yarbrough, president of Dallas Theological Seminary and professor of Bible Exposition. For more information or to register, check out this link: https://events.thestoryofscripture.org/events/annapolis.
Blessings!
Pastor Bryan
