Weekly Update, June 28th, 2024

Hi church,

VBS was an incredible week! From the first night, the attendance grew and overall there were about 100 kids who attended! The children heard about the rock-solid truths of Scripture and the gospel of Christ. Thank you to all the workers who made it such an enjoyable week for the kids. And thanks to everyone who prayed for the week! We look forward to a great VBS celebration this coming Sunday and fun activities after the service, weather permitting.

VBS Celebration Sunday

This Sunday, we will celebrate all the Lord has done through VBS. There will be many visitors here so be sure to introduce yourself to someone new. The kids will sing a song during the service. Then from 12-1pm, we will have a waterslide, water toys, and free Kona Ice! Kids, bring a towel and a change of clothes.

Men’s Cookout

The Men’s Ministry will be hosting a cookout at the church on July 21 at 5pm. Come hang out, play some games, and eat some great food! All food will be provided.

Weems Creek Shirt Sales

We had a great response to the Weems Creek apparel orders. Shirts will arrive in about 2-3 weeks and will be available for pick up at the Connect Center.

Wellspring Baby Bottle Campaign

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Baby Bottle Campaign. Once we receive the total amount donated, we will let you know.
