Weekly Update, May 31st, 2024

Hi church,

Hope you were able to participate in our day of fasting and prayer. I would love to hear any praise reports from your times with the Lord and answered prayers in the days ahead. Just a reminder about our Outreach brainstorm session on Sunday night at 6pm in the multi-purpose room. God is a great God and we want our community to know him.

Wellspring Baby Bottles

As Christians, we believe that God has made each person in his image. Every person has equal worth by the fact that we are a reflection of God. Because of that understanding, we believe that each person has the right to life and should be treated with dignity and respect. For many years, our church has been a partner of Wellspring Life Ministry, an organization whose mission is “a faith-based, medical non-profit serving those facing pregnancy-related and sexual health issues by offering physical, emotional, and spiritual support and empowering them to make healthy and life-affirming decisions.”

To support them, we will be participating in their Baby Bottle Campaign through Father’s Day. Here's how it works! Wellspring has provided baby bottles to the church. For those who are interested in participating, pick up your bottle in the atrium, fill it with money and return it to the Connect Center. In a month, Wellspring will collect the bottles. There is also the option of donating using a QR code. This video explains a little more about it - Baby Bottle Campaign.

VBS Snack Donations

Help make VBS extra delicious this summer by signing up to bring ingredients for snacks! Pleases sign up in the atrium and take a reminder card home with you. Return all items by Sunday, June 16th.
