Weekly Update, March 1st, 2024

Hi church,

This Sunday we celebrate the Lord's Supper. Jesus commanded this ordinance to remind us in tangible ways of his great atoning sacrifice to forgive our sins. Before we gather this Sunday, please take some time and prepare your heart to receive the Lord's Supper with clean hands and a pure heart (1 Corinthians 11:23-32). Also, pray that God will bless our celebration of the Lord's Supper so that we are renewed in our love and commitment to him and to each other.

Creativity Workshop – Easter Cards

Are you creative? Well, you don't need to be to enjoy the upcoming Creativity Workshop for all women, ages 6th grade and up. Join us on Tuesday, March 12, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the multipurpose room for creative instruction, fellowship, and snacks. At this workshop, Deb Lilliston and Beverly Long will guide us through how to make three beautiful Easter cards. All supplies will be provided. This event is open to all women, so invite your friends and family and join us for a free night of fellowship and fun. Sign up in the Church Center App or at the Connect Center. See you there!

Prayer for Revival

Join us as we pray for God to do a GREAT work of salvation, transformation, and renewal in our church, community, and nation. We’ll meet on Thursday, March 14 at 11am in room 112.

  • Easter Egg Hunt – March 23, 1-3pm (toddlers – 5th grade). Rain date is March 24, 1-3pm

  • Good Friday Service – March 29, 6:30pm

  • Easter Service – March 31, 9:30am & 11am (childcare provided at both services)

Hat Donations for Light House Shelter

New hat donations are welcome year-round for gifting during the winter months. New hats can be given to Judy Hayes.
