Weekly Update - July 21, 2023

Hi church,

VBS begins this Sunday evening! VBS is always a tremendous opportunity to share the gospel with children and their families and to strengthen the faith of believers. We have over 90 children registered. Please pray for the upcoming week - it is very exciting to host so many kids!

VBS Celebration

Next Sunday, 7/30, we will have a big VBS celebration! The kids will sing during the service. Then after church (12:30-1:30), we will have free Kona Ice for the kids, a huge water slide, water toys, and each child will receive a gift bag! It will be a great way to cap off a great week! Kids may want to bring a change of clothes and a towel.

New Sunday School Class

A new Sunday school class will start on July 30 and run for 5 weeks. Kurt Russell will be leading a study on Colossians. All adults are welcome. They will meet in room 110, downstairs, at 9:45am.

Operation Christmas Child Drop Box

We will begin collecting items to be packed in shoeboxes at a future date. There is a box in the atrium for donations. All donations should be new. Please consider donating in this way, as well as packing individual boxes this fall. For more information, please see Marge Loomis (410-956-7863).
