Weekly Update - March 31st, 2023

Hi church,

With the very high likelihood of rain tomorrow, we decided to move the Easter Egg Hunt inside. If the weather improves, we will move it outside. The event will still start at 10am. If you are interested in helping, please arrive at the church at 9am. Pray for a wonderful outreach to families from our church and the community.

Easter Services

On Good Friday, join us at 6:30pm for this special time as we remember our Lord’s sacrifice on the cross and observe the Lord’s Supper. On Easter Sunday, we will have services at 9:30am and 11am. Childcare and Kids Worship will be provided at the 11am service. There will be no Sunday School on Easter Sunday.

Family Easter Devotional

Families with elementary school-age children are encouraged to pick up the Easter Devotional Guide for Families. They will be on the Connect Center and the Child Check-in Counter. It is our hope that your family will use these devotions, activities, and prayer times next week to worship Jesus.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is the primary way Southern Baptists fund missions in North America. One hundred percent of gifts given to this offering go to the field to support more than 2,400 missionary families serving across the United States and Canada. The donations are used to train and resource missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries, as well as create evangelism resources. Our goal is $15,000. So far, we have collected $2,620.

Praying the Bible by Donald Whitney

If you ordered this book, they will be available at the Connect Center on Sunday. We are asking for a $5 donation. If you haven’t paid yet, you can give your money to the Connect Center volunteers or put it in the offering, marked “Prayer book.”

Women’s Bible Study

Women’s Wednesday night Bible study will be starting a new 4-week series on Abraham beginning April 5th at 6:45pm in room 111. This study, “Abraham: The Father of Our Faith,” will cover the lessons we learn from this patriarch from the Old Testament. We will learn about Abram’s call, his faith, his family, and God’s covenant with him.

Knitting/Crafting

Bring your knitting or latest craft project and join in this great time of fellowship on April 11 at 6:30pm in Room 111.

See you Sunday!
