Weekly Update - September 15th, 2023
Hi church,
The Mission Team will be headed home tomorrow after a great week of serving the people of Patra. We look forward to hearing about their trip on Sunday, Sept. 24th.
The picnic is finally here!
Bring a dish or two to share, a blanket or chair and join us for a great time of relaxing and hanging out after church on Sunday. There will be tables set up in the parking lot for our SonShiners and the food table will also be in the back parking lot to make it more accessible for all. There will be a bounce house for the kids, gaga ball, and corn hole. We hope you’ll stay!
Wellspring Walk/5K for LIFE!
Please join our church team, Weems Creek for Life, next Sat., Sept. 23! Wellspring Life Ministry is holding their annual Walk and 5K Run for Life on 9/23/23 at Mid-Atlantic Community Church (MACC) in Gambrills. Whether you walk, run or donate, lives will be saved. Fall Activities
All Bible studies and Awana are starting this week. Remember to sign up for the Women’s Bible studies and the Parenting Class at the Connect Center or in the Church Center app. Books for the Women’s Bible study may be purchased ($15) at the Connect Center on Sunday or at the first class. There will also be childcare for infants – 2 years on Wednesday nights.
Harvest Fest
Join us for Harvest Fest on Oct. 14th from 12-2:30pm! We will have a petting zoo, bounce house, carnival games, chili cookoff, local fire & police departments, food, crafts, and MORE! Free to the community! Stay tuned for more details!
SonShiners Lunch and Operation Christmas Child Kick-off
The SonShiners (55 ) will have lunch and hear a presentation from Carol Dakin and Marge Loomis about Operation Christmas Child on Thursday, Sept. 21 at noon. Please sign up at the Connect Center.
Prayer for Revival
