Hi church,
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we gather to praise the Lord, fellowship, and learn God's word. Also, we will have a luncheon afterward to thank Pastor B.J. and his wife JoAnn. They have truly blessed our church and we want to honor them. Please join us!
National Shoebox Collection Week
Weems Creek Church is a national drop-off site for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. We still need some volunteers to help with collection from Monday, Nov. 13-20. There are morning and evening time slots available. Please sign up at the Connect Center.
Women’s Ministry Creativity Workshop
All ladies, 9th grade and older, are welcome to join us this Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 6:30-8pm in the multipurpose room as Julie Golihew leads us through the steps to create our own Christmas decor piece. Please sign up at the Connect Center or in the Church Center app. A sample of the project is located at the Connect Center. Cost of the project is $10 (at the event).
Business Meeting
This coming Wednesday, 11/15 at 6:00pm in the worship center. Please note the new time. We will review the financial reports, vote in new members and hear ministry reports.

Women’s Ministry Cookies & Cocoa
Make plans to join the women of Weems Creek for Cookies and Cocoa, a holiday fellowship on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2-4 p.m. Bring a dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies to share and enjoy the favorites from your sisters! Please submit a copy of your favorite Christmas cookie recipe PRIOR to the event. You can drop it off at the Connect Center or send an email with your recipe to Jenny Francis, jcheston.francis@gmail.com.
New Wednesday Night Classes
Join us for one of our new adult Bible studies on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm.
MEN – Philippians led by Dan Mason in room 106
WOMEN – The Wonder of Advent led by Sarina Lynham in room 111
MIXED ADULTS – Seven Deadly Sins led by Pastor Bryan in room 102
The new women’s Bible study also meets on Tuesdays (10-11:30am) and Saturdays (9:30-11am).
Children’s Choir
We will once again have the children sing during our Christmas Coffee House this year! We will practice after service from 12:15-12:30pm in the multipurpose room on Nov. 19th, 26th, Dec. 3rd, and 10th and then perform our song on Sunday evening December 17th. If your child loves to sing and is interested in participating, please join us for our first rehearsal on the 19th and email Melissa Gardner at melissa@weemscreek.com if you have any questions!
MOPS
Moms of babies through kindergarten are welcome to join us for breakfast, hot coffee, a devotion, craft, and fellowship time this coming Friday, Nov. 17, from 9:30-11am. Childcare will be provided.
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found box is overflowing! There are numerous water bottles, coffee mugs, jackets, glasses, toys, and jewelry. Please stop by the Connect Center and look through the box.
