Kids and Student Ministry At Church

Kids and students have a great time and love it at Weems Creek!  That is because the next generation is highly valued and loved by our staff and volunteers. From birth all the way to college, kids and students are nurtured as well as challenged to grow and mature in their relationship with Jesus.  The nursery is well-equipped and led by by loving caregivers.  Preschoolers and Elementary age kids have a blast learning about Jesus in a kid-friendly environment.  And students take part in small groups on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings and do all kinds of awesome stuff! 

Kids and Student Ministry at Home

The Kids and Student Ministry however are not separate ministries unto themselves. We believe that as a church, if we are going to do our part effectively in raising up the next generation of believers, ministries in the church must work together. However, the Kids and Student Ministry at Weems Creek is only one of two major catalysts in a kid's or student's life. We believe that the greatest potential to impact the next generation happens when the church and the home partner together. That is why we have developed the Faith@Home initiative for families because as a church, we believe it is our responsibility to equip, inspire and resource families to build God-honoring homes one step at a time as the next generation is raised up.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is for every mom of a preschooler - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! Our vision is that every mom of preschoolers is so impacted by her MOPS experience that she carries it with her for life, making her a better mom who creates a better world. Moms all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We don’t all have to agree with one another but everyone is in and we all need each other! At Weems Creek MOPS, moms will hear relevant teaching on issues that pertain to them, develop their leadership skills, be in community with other moms in their life stage, learn from older moms who have been where they have been, and relax knowing their kids are in a safe and fun program called MOPPETS.
